Branches and locations
- How many branches does DOT have, and where?
- DOT has three branches: Hofuf and Mubarraz in Al-Ahsa, and Khobar at Ajdan Walk on the Corniche. The Hofuf branch is on King Abdullah Road, next to Jarir Bookstore.
- Is DOT in Al-Ahsa?
- Yes, two branches: Hofuf and Mubarraz. DOT started in Al-Ahsa in the first place.
- Where is the DOT branch in Khobar?
- At Ajdan Walk on Prince Turki Street, overlooking the Khobar Corniche.
- Is there a branch in Riyadh or Dammam?
- Not yet. Our branches are in Al-Ahsa and Khobar.
- Which branch is nearest to me?
- If you are in Al-Ahsa: Hofuf or Mubarraz. If you are in Khobar or Dammam: the Ajdan Walk branch.
Opening hours
- When does DOT open?
- At 6 am, in all three branches: Hofuf, Mubarraz and Khobar.
- When does DOT close?
- Midnight from Saturday to Wednesday, and 2 am on Thursday and Friday.
- Is DOT open late?
- Yes, until midnight every day, and until 2 am on Thursday and Friday. If you want dessert or coffee at night, you will find us open.
- Are the bakes fresh in the morning?
- Yes. Croissants, fatayer and sourdough are baked every morning in our bakery and delivered to the branches before they open, and cookies come out of the branch oven every hour. Quantities are limited and sell out during the day.
Products
- What is DOT best known for?
- The Spanish Latte among the drinks, Dulce de Leche and Hug Me! among the desserts, and fresh croissants and sourdough from the bakery.
- What should I order at DOT the first time?
- A Spanish Latte with an Almond Croissant in the morning, or Dulce de Leche with coffee in the afternoon. If you like matcha: Vanilla Matcha, hot or iced.
- Does DOT serve specialty coffee?
- Yes. Hand-brewed V60, a Coffee of the Day whose bean changes, Espresso, Flat White and Cortado, besides the Spanish Latte, which is the best known.
- Do you have matcha?
- Yes, Vanilla Matcha, hot or iced, and it is the only matcha we make.
- Do you serve breakfast?
- Yes, from 6 am. Fried eggs, pancakes, Kibdah Bun, Special Falafel, halloumi and cheese sandwiches, and Sourdough Guacamole, along with fresh croissants and fatayer.
- Do you have sourdough bread?
- Yes. Sourdough Classic and Sourdough Brown as whole loaves, plus Sourdough Spinach and Sourdough Guacamole at breakfast. Limited quantity each day.
- What is Dotlicious?
- A sandwich our way: a filling between two layers of savoury biscuit. Spicy Tuna, Avotuna, Turkey and Halloumi, and there is a mixed box.
- Do you have vegetarian options?
- We have a few items without meat: Special Falafel, Sourdough Guacamole, spinach and cheese fatayer, and the halloumi sandwiches.
Occasion cakes
- Does DOT make occasion cakes?
- Yes, to order: birthdays, graduations, engagements, newborns and family occasions. Every cake is a story, and we design it to your taste. Designs and orders are at Dot Cake Art.
- How do I order a birthday cake?
- Message Dot Cake Art on WhatsApp at 056 730 3400 with the design, the occasion and the date, or order one of the ready cakes in the Dot app.
- What are the ready cakes?
- The ready cakes on the menu are 6 inch: the Cute Bear cake, the Roblox cake, and the Rose Garden cake in three colours: red, pink and green.
Hospitality and companies
- Do you have hospitality boxes?
- Yes. The Gathering Box, Gathering Breakfast 5+1, the cookies, cinnamon roll, mini fatayer, mini croissant, truffles and bites boxes, and the Coffee Box.
- Can I order for a meeting or a company occasion?
- Yes. The Coffee Box and the bakery boxes come in quantities that suit meetings and events. Order ahead.
- What is the best order for a family gathering?
- Gathering Breakfast 5+1 or the Gathering Box, and the Coffee Box if the group is large.
About DOT
- When did DOT start?
- DOT started from a home kitchen in Al-Ahsa in 2012, and opened its first branch in Hofuf in 2017. Today it has three branches.
- What makes DOT different?
- DOT is a bakery first and a cafe second. The bakes are baked every morning and reach the branches fresh, and cookies come out of the branch oven every hour. On top of that, specialty coffee, and a dedicated section for occasion cakes.
- Is DOT a Saudi bakery?
- Yes. Saudi, from Al-Ahsa, started in a home kitchen in 2012, and expanding from there without changing.
